You may come presenting an issue or you may feel overwhelmed, confused, out of sorts with yourself or your world and simply want to get clarity on whatever is causing bump(s) in your road. Either way, people report feeling lighter, clearer, more relaxed than they were before the session; after some time for integration at home, they report insights and movement in their life.

I don’t choose which path we will go on until I’ve opened up the space and set the container and we are together in time/space – I have no set pattern by which I work; I merely follow the steps my feet take me, as I’m guided, as the session progresses, as I am able to “see” what is required. I don’t know whether we shall sit together or you shall lie on my table or both in the course of a session.

Sometimes homework is given, to help you integrate the new state and the teachings you have received. At times I may teach you techniques to enhance your daily life. A session will clear a lot and get everything moving, but it is your job to keep up the momentum. It is all to your good. 

A session consists of 1.5 hours’ work, with a follow-up of about 15-20 minutes a week later. To get the best results, consider a package of sessions to keep up the momentum of the work.

Bring your questions about yourself, your life, people in your life, if you’re wanting to get a view of the “lay of the land”. It is not essential that you come with questions, nor that we sit in the same room or you are somewhere across the globe. We all live in the great sea of consciousness which is everywhere at all times and being able to “swim” in that sea, as I do, assists you in getting answers. I have many clients whom I’ve never met in person, who found great benefit in their life. My purpose in being here is to serve and guide; I love my work!

I don’t need to use cards, tea leaves, palms or other devices in order to do a clairvoyant reading for someone. We simply sit together and I begin with whatever is given to me to “see”. This may cover past situations, current ones or even a view into the future. However, it’s important to say that I am not a fortune teller and do not foretell the future. Often I can see an important someone in your life.

Sometimes in the course of a reading I am given some information that comes as a teaching for the individual. I always share what I’m shown; if I don’t, the message keeps coming round and round like a ticker tape until I do. What I hear in the guidance I’m given or shown is what I impart to you. It’s important to state that I prefer not to do my work via the Internet and that everything is carried out in complete confidentiality.

While I was getting better, perfecting my skills and art, others were just doing it and getting better at it and drawing to them the people, the publicity and the income. When I realized this several years ago, at first I was jealous, but on further consideration, I recognized that there just weren’t enough healers, and holistic practitioners to serve the enormous population in which we live. I recognized that the Universe is abundant and that there is more than enough to go around, that the Universe is just waiting to hear what it is we want, in order to provide it to us. What more could one want?

I began to network my clients to others, whom I knew offered services I didn’t provide, because I knew this is truly what serving the client is all about. I put myself within the circle of sharing, starting with an image of the golden ring, in which “what goes around, comes around”. I held trust in my heart and although it took some time, eventually some of those practitioners began to send me their clients for what I do best. Happily, my practice of giving and receiving began to expand.

Isn’t this what it’s all about in our abundant Universe? We cannot be all things to everyone and we are perfect as we are in every moment. I’m so grateful to be a lifelong learner, that will continue to renew myself in all ways, that I am constantly reminded of the multitudes of things for which I am so grateful.

This is my first entry regarding the process of making the yurt manifest. So many of you have asked to know how it all has been going and now you can follow it here. It’s been an awesome process! And we’re not finished yet. The outbuilding which will house the bathroom, power and wood storage is being completed as I write this. The lovely laminate floor is down and ready for dancing, yoga, drum circles, classes of all kinds, mini conferences and workshops in shamanic energy, self-care and protection, Medicine Wheel teachings, home concerts and many other activities. We are limited only by the imagination as to what can happen here.

We haven’t yet settled on a name for what we plan will become an international centre for teachings, learnings and retreats, so I put it out to you to bring back here some great suggestions with the flavour of: imagine, rainbow, all colours, crossroads, cross-pollination and integration. Of course, the name needs to be memorable and easy to recall.

Our plan was to be up and operating by now, and weather has its own time, so we are working with it. We expect to be offering the Munay-Ki Rites of Initiation later in August, yoga classes starting in early September, and will be running something throughout the year, so please stay posted with us by checking regularly into http://shamanikhealing.com/calendar-upcoming-events.html .   

If  you’ve wondered why a yurt
  
At first it was to get out of our house, where I have been doing sessions and gatherings for a number of years. My natural bent is to clean up the space before clients arrive and this meant the office, kitchen, bath, dining room and living room – in effect, most of the house. With a busy practice, I was spending more time cleaning and less time enjoying. I’ll continue with this part of the tale in my next blog entry.. a few days from now, so tune in. If we do not complete this process of purification and healing, the breaking down of old structures, this breaking down will happen at the literal and physical level. We must bring our power and attention to examine what no longer serves us and walk with ethics in the world. The prophecies foretell that the individuals who take this leap will rise out of the creative juices of the rich, dark mother earth and flourish.

The Munay-Ki are the nine great rites of initiation of the Medicine way of the ancient Inka. The Prophecies of the ancient Americas speak about a new human appearing on the planet – one who lives free of fear and resides in his or her transcendent nature. The Munay-Ki are the codes for the new human. These codes are energetically transmitted through 9 rites into the “Luminous Energy Field”, helping us to heal and transform our energy fields into that of Homo Luminous.

Munay-Ki means “Love Energy” or “Be as Thou Art”. The ninth rite, the “Creator Rite” was transmitted for the first time in the summer of 2006 on the Holy Mountains in the Andes of Peru. The nine initiations of the Munay-Ki have only been available until recently to the high wisdom keepers of the Americas. The last 2 rites have never been available to humanity before this time.

 The Maya have a precise calendar that ends on this date, when a new cycle of time begins. The Inka Prophecy is not just a foretelling of events and crises facing the earth, but most importantly they offer a series of processes for turning these crises into opportunities. For the shaman the processes are much more important because they provide more than information, they give us the power to make a difference. The prophecy tells that this is the time of the emergence of a new human.

The processes are the rites of initiation. These awaken the God-consciousness or divine brain within each of us and permit us to “dream the world into being”. The shaman realizes her role is to use her skills to create beauty even in the midst of ugliness. The prophecy speaks about the new human that can appear during our lifetime. When you receive the rites of initiation you can become the human we have been waiting for. The prophecies are optimistic. As you learn the processes you embody the prophecy and become the peace you desire to create in the world.

This rite connects us to the archangels that are guardians of our galaxy, stewards of all life on Earth. This rite connects us to the stars, and to our local star, the sun. It helps us learn the ways of the seer and dream the world into being.



Starkeeper’s Rite 


 This rite anchors us safely to the time after the great change, said to occur around 2012. Our physical body begins to evolve into homo luminous, the aging process is slowed down, our DNA is re-informed, and we become more resistant to disease.

Creator Rite 


 Awakens the Creator-light within and brings forth a sense of stewardship for all creation, from the smallest grain of sand to the largest cluster of galaxies in the universe. At one time attained only through direct transmission from Spirit, it is now possible to transmit this rite from one person to another. As you work with the germination of these rites you’ll be touched and blessed by angels. You simply need to open yourself to the wisdom of the Earthkeepers, and all will be bestowed upon you.

Whether it’s for yoga, belly dance, or other movement classes, or honing your writing skills, learning about the Medicine Ways, healing practices or energy work, you will find something that will suit you here. Our aim is to provide a place where communities may cross pollinate their ideas, ways, and dreams, in order to make an even bigger contribution on a wider scale.
